Welcoming the Celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H / 2025 AD, PT Phoenix Resources International (PRI) Continues Its Tradition of Sharing Blessings with the Tarakan Community.

In celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri / 2025 AD, PT Phoenix Resources International (PRI) once again carried out a series of community outreach initiatives aimed at sharing blessings and joy with the people of Tarakan.

This initiative, titled Sharing Blessings in the Holy Month of Ramadan, has become an annual tradition since PRI established its presence in Bumi Paguntaka — the local name for the city of Tarakan — three years ago.

The activities began with a donation program for 35 orphans from several orphanages in the Juata Permai area, including Panti Dhuafa, Panti Ahmad Dahlan, and Panti Ar Rokhimin.

The event was held at the meeting room of PRI’s External Office and proceeded solemnly, featuring a religious sermon delivered by Ustaz Zainal Abidin Muhja. The gathering concluded with a prayer led by Muhammad Zio, a resident of the Ar Rokhimin orphanage.

Following the donation to the orphans, the Ramadan program continued with a Ramadan Social Service initiative, providing essential food packages to underprivileged families, widows, and elderly residents living in the vicinity of the company’s operations.

This year, the Ramadan Social Service program reached 70 households across 7 neighborhood units (RTs) in the sub-districts of Juata Permai and Karang Anyar.

In addition, PRI continued its annual Safari Ramadan tradition, visiting mosques near the company’s operational area, combined with a communal iftar (breaking of the fast).

In Ramadan 2025, PRI’s Safari Ramadan was held at Al Jannah Mosque in RT 01, Belalung area, and Al Muttaqin Mosque located on Jalan Muara Bengawan, Juata Permai, North Tarakan District.
