PT Phoenix Resources International (PRI) has been recognized by the Tarakan City Government as one of the companies actively supporting the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction in Tarakan City in 2024.

The award was officially presented by the Mayor of Tarakan, Dr. Khairul, through the Tarakan City Regional Secretary, Ir. Jamaluddin, to PRI’s Community Development Officer, Ari Ristanti, during the Stunting Coordination Forum held at the multipurpose hall of the Tarakan City Hall on Tuesday, March 20, 2025.

In his remarks, the Mayor expressed his gratitude for PRI’s initiatives and dedication in helping accelerate stunting reduction efforts in Bumi Paguntaka — the local name for Tarakan City — particularly in Juata Permai and Juata Laut Subdistricts, North Tarakan District.

The Mayor emphasized the importance of maintaining synergy and active participation in collective efforts to prevent and reduce stunting.

“This involves integrating all available resources from the planning and budgeting stages to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation,” said Mayor Khairul in remarks delivered by Jamaluddin.
