PT Phoenix Resources International (PRI), represented by Mechanical Engineer (Power Plant) Ir. Ringkot Sihotang, S.T., M.M., I.P.P, was invited as a keynote speaker at the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Seminar organized by the Mechanical Engineering Student Association (HMTM) of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Borneo Tarakan (UBT).

The seminar coincided with the 2025 commemoration of International Workers’ Day and National Education Day, held at the SBSN Building, LP3M Room, UBT Campus, on Sunday, May 4, 2025. The event was open to all students across faculties at UBT.

Carrying the theme “Investing in Occupational Health and Safety for a Better Future Workplace”, the session delivered by Ringkot provided a comprehensive overview of OHS. Topics covered included the fundamentals and definitions of OHS, its background, safety signage, various types of personal protective equipment (PPE), and other aspects of workplace safety and health.
