Inspiration for learning can come from anywhere — including vocational education, which welcomes the involvement of industry practitioners to contribute to the teaching process.
One example is PRI’s participation at Universitas Borneo Tarakan (UBT) through the Entrepreneurs Teach program, a national initiative launched by the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) involving 1,000 entrepreneurs across all provinces in Indonesia.
The program aims to provide students, lecturers, and educators with valuable insights, motivation, and exemplary values from real-world business experience.
In this program, PRI was represented by Yanuar, Human Resources Manager of PT PRI and Vice Chairman of APINDO for North Kalimantan Province. Yanuar had the opportunity to deliver two guest lectures for all students of the Management Department, Faculty of Economics at UBT, as part of the Business Ethics course, held on April 29 and May 20, 2025.
